Full Job Description
This position requires a highly motivated, strategic leader to drive digital investment strategy and execution with a focus on advanced video activation - including OTT, CTV, and addressable video - alongside programmatic best practices. The Vice President, Digital Investment will be responsible for developing and activating digital strategic plans across video, display, social, and emerging channels, with a strong emphasis on programmatic activation and advanced video targeting strategies. This individual will champion Zenith's vision of Live ROI, serve as a strategic thought leader on audience-first video strategies, and manage a team of direct reports to deliver best-in-class campaign performance. The ideal candidate brings deep digital investment expertise with a programmatic foundation, and possesses a strategic vision for how advanced video technologies and data-driven targeting can transform client outcomes. They will advocate for innovative activation approaches across the team, ensuring that programmatic capabilities are seamlessly integrated into broader digital investment strategies - not siloed as a standalone function Responsibilities 3 Lead digital investment strategy and implementation for client accounts, with a primary focus on video activation (OTT, CTV, addressable, online video) and programmatic channels 3 Develop and articulate advanced video targeting strategies that align audience data with premium video inventory to drive measurable client outcomes 3 Serve as a strategic thought leader on the evolving digital video landscape, including emerging platforms, ad tech innovations, and audience-first planning approaches 3 Oversee programmatic activation across display, video, social, and mobile, ensuring best-in-class execution and optimization 3 Partner with Precision and PMX teams to integrate data-driven audience strategies, leveraging DSPs, CDPs, and DMPs to enhance targeting and performance 3 Manage vendor and platform relationships to identify first-to-market video and programmatic opportunities that deliver on client business objectives 3 Assume accountability for digital investment output, ensuring accurate and best-in-class planning recommendations across channel mix and budget allocation 3 Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities - particularly in the video and programmatic space - and place appropriate value 3 Draw actionable insights from syndicated data, research tools (Nielsen, Comscore), and campaign analytics to inform strategic recommendations 3 Create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate video strategy, programmatic performance, and investment rationale to clients 3 Manage and mentor a team of digital investment professionals, driving continued growth in skills and knowledge across video, programmatic, and emerging channels 3 Continuously identify opportunities to evolve how programmatic activation and advanced video strategies are adopted across Zenith 3 Deliver thought leadership to clients and internal teams on the intersection of video, data, and technology Qualifications 3 B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising, or related field; MBA preferred 3 10+ years of digital media buying/planning experience, with demonstrated expertise in video (OTT, CTV, addressable) and programmatic activation 3 5+ years of people management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams 3 Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem including DSPs, CDPs, DMPs, and exchange-based media buying 3 Strong knowledge of the OTT/CTV landscape, including platform capabilities, measurement frameworks, and audience targeting methodologies 3 Experience planning and activating digital campaigns across both B2C and B2B verticals, with the ability to confidently present strategies to senior client stakeholders 3 Programmatic marketing subject matter expertise with a strategic vision for how programmatic integrates into holistic digital investment plans 3 Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills 3 Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy 3 Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting) 3 Experience with ad serving platforms, trafficking workflows, and campaign management tools (e.g., Prisma, DCM/Campaign Manager) 3 Experience with research tools such as Nielsen and Comscore preferred 3 Intelligent, entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic Additional Information Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Diffe9rence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 - USD $239,148.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
